Overview
Engineering and Industrial Technology occupations are jobs that require solving problems and working primarily with computers, machines, tools, robotics, and materials, such as food, ceramics, wood, plastics, or metal. This is a very diverse field that includes hands-on and mind-on skills. This field offers a vast array of fun careers that include the opportunity to design your own creations. Technical careers are vital to the efficient functioning of a society in the operation, design, manufacturing and repair of its equipment and machinery. Economic health is measured, in part, by the amount and quality of manufacturing and construction. All of these areas offer important career opportunities.
