Career Pathway
A career pathway is a group
of related careers. These careers have been grouped together because they
require similar educational backgrounds. A career pathway is an educational
plan that will enable students to make successful transitions from high
school to post- secondary institution or careers. Choosing the right path
to follow is a very important decision. Achieving a successful and satisfying
career takes years of planning, studying, training and hard work. To make
the best choices, students should talk with their parents, teachers and
counselors about their future goals.
